What we could have been-synopsis
Best friends. There is nothing more important in a relationship than friendship. It could have been that forever friends story, acting like it, talking like it. Maybe it would never have been official.. But that hardly matters because they’re always together. No one would need to of made it official, because they’re always talking to each other, or about each other.. And they say I love you every day. And they feel invincible. But, he has serious issues, an addiction to special glasses, they make him see the world upside down, that’s how he prefers it. He likes the skewed vantage point. It makes him happy. But she can’t stand it, she fears that maybe, since he sees everything upside down, nothing is rightside up to him. He claims the glasses put him in a good mood.. its a crutch. you cant know the feel of solid ground without having fallen. so maybe he hasn’t really fallen for her. The way he is, could be an illusion. She has never seen his eyes. Because the glasses are always on. Maybe she fell in love with the side that isn’t real. And maybe he doesn’t love her at all.

Dear Gilbert,
My first impression of you is really hard to remember. It was well over three years ago, I was only 14, and at that time there was no way I could have possibly known that we would turn into this. I remember thinking you we’re cute, and I remember flirting a bit. At the time, we meant so little to each other, it wasn’t till a whole year later that I realized, what a great person you are, you were always first. I always wanted to talk to you. Alwayssss. And I remember you just being the homie, had we not gotten so close, beforehand, our relationship would not have worked out to the way we are now. I love you.
